Facebook Dominates Google for Relevancy, Volume of Hits and Most Number of Loyal Visitors According to Recent Report

Not only is Facebook beating Google with being the most visited site in the U.S. along with driving more traffic to news and media sites, but it is also providing more loyal visitors to these sites according to reports from Hitwise’s follow up data.

The data from Hitwise, that was compiled the week ending March 6th states that 78% of Facebook.com users had been returning visitors to Print Media websites, whereas the rate at which Google News visitors were returning was 67%. The stats for Broadcast Media produced a return rate of 64% for Google News, with Facebook.com winning again, with a return rate of 77%.

This date only goes to show the value of the traffic driven by Facebook in comparison to Google News, so it is very relevant as far as proving the returning values of potential customers, which is most definitely very important for advertisers and retailers. Read More from SEO Consult…
